James Gilbert is Assistant Director (Corporate) for Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey District Council and South Holland District Council – the award-winning South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership.
James has worked in Local Government for the past 20 years, with the last 12 years being at a senior manager level. In recent years, James has been Assistant Chief Executive at East Lindsey District Council and also held the joint role of Deputy Chief Executive – People for Boston and East Lindsey Councils.
In his present role, James is responsible for ICT, HR and Organisational Development, Performance, Transformation, Corporate Policy and Communications; as well as supporting the delivery of the wider-Partnership agenda.
James is also client lead for Public Sector Partnership Services – a company wholly-owned by the three Councils.
James is also a trained Multi-Agency Gold Incident Commander.
